We continue to partner with OnHand, a volunteering platform linking D&G employees with opportunities in their local area, such as food shopping for the vulnerable, youth mentoring, litter picks and donating to food banks. OnHand is flexible and fits within our day-to-day routines. Some of the missions, like those involving sustainable swaps and pledges, can be completed from your own home.
In another step forward on our sustainability journey, in August 2021, we became a friend of the Reuse Network.
In 2024, we became ambassadors for SheCanCode who are on a mission to close the gender gap in the tech industry. SheCanCode promotes and advocates for companies that are focussed on increasing diversity across their tech workforce.
Also in 2024, we renewed our partnership with Women in Data who provide a platform allowing professionals at all levels to share their knowledge and experience while working alongside businesses to help them embrace and develop the enormous advantages generated by diversity.
Member of UN Global Compact
We continue to be a proud member of the United Nation’s Global Compact Network, supporting their principles-based approach to business aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (‘SDGs’) and global rights. This includes those relating to human rights, labour, anti-corruption and environment. Recently we have published our latest communication on progress
