D&G is working proactively to become a more sustainable business, where we believe we have an important role to play in reducing waste to landfill through repairs, and in encouraging customer awareness around making their appliances and products more efficient.
We are also demonstrating our commitment to a net-zero future by working on setting ourselves science-based targets for our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, to play our part in preventing the worst effects of climate change.
We are proud members of the UN Global Compact Network, the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative, which calls for companies to align their operations and strategies with 10 universally accepted principles related to the environment, human rights, labour and anti-corruption. Our business activities continue to contribute to the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals. We have been working hard to play a positive role in society, encouraging greater diversity and inclusion within our business. We are a signatory to the Change the Race Ratio initiative and One Loud Voice – both strive to improve the representation of people from all backgrounds.
